My name is Lea and I’ve had a pretty rough life but I made it through by finding the funny things in it. I’m a daughter, twin sister, mother, a wife, an ex-wife, a corporate trainer, an unemployed corporate trainer, a care-giver to three dying parents. I’ve lived with people, who turned my world upside down and inside out, and made my life oh, interesting
I’ve got a beautiful daughter who took me through the precious baby years to the terrible teenage years and is now ready to embark on to college, I will miss her terribly. I wouldn’t trade a minute of her growing up. Though secretly, I liked the baby years the best! She is and always will be the shining star in my life.
At an early age I found that laughter was a lifesaver. If I could make my parents laugh, it would be a better day. Some days could be rough. I want to make the point that you can laugh in the face of fear, disaster, tragedy and get through it. Of course, you must first find humor in yourself, compassion and forgiveness.
You can also laugh just because you are happy and want to show it and share it. I got to that point and I want to show you how I did it. Now this isn’t a sad journey, so put away the pity. I laughed all along the way, even if I laughed at myself. If you can do that then you can enjoy life and not take yourself so seriously. You’ll miss all the fun.
I am going to tell you all about the 100’s of ways I found to laugh in the face of many disasters. I had mayhem, hijinks, mischief and all around good times along with the not so good times. Hopefully you will not only be entertained, but will also be inspired to laugh and play when life gets you down. Put on your seat belts so you don’t laugh yourself out of your chair.
Thank you for reading my posts, I wish you joy, happiness and laughter always.
