My name is Lea and I am currently unemployed and trying like crazy to find a job, in the meantime, I’ve turned toward my passion of writing. I might as well put that Journalism degree to use. So I decided to write about some of the funnier things that happened in my life and hopefully give you a chuckle during your day.
I’ve had a pretty rough life but I made it through by finding the funny things in it. I’m a daughter, twin sister, mother, a wife, an ex-wife, a corporate trainer, an unemployed corporate trainer, a care-giver to three dying parents. I’ve lived with people, befriended people, am related to people who turned my world upside down and inside out, and made my life oh, interesting.
I have a beautiful daughter who took me through the precious baby years to the terrible teenage years and is now ready to embark on to college.I am going to miss her terribly. I wouldn’t trade a minute of her growing up. Though secretly, I liked the baby years the best, she is the shining star in my life!
At an early age I found that laughter was a lifesaver. If I could make my parents laugh,it would be a better day, some days were rough. I want to make the point that you can laugh in the face of fear, disaster, tragedy and get through it. First you have to find the humor in yourself. Then you will find love, compassion and forgiveness. You will even laugh at yourself, I did. When you can do that you won’t take life so seriously and you can have fun with it.
You can also laugh just because you are happy and want to show it and share it. I got to that point and I want to show you how I did it. Now this isn’t a sad journey, so put away the pity. I laughed all along the way.
I am going to tell you all about the 100’s of ways I found to laugh in the face of many disasters. I had mayhem, hijinks, mischief and all around good times along with the not so good times. Hopefully you will not only be entertained, but will also be inspired to laugh and play when life gets you down. Put on your seat belts so you don’t laugh yourself out of your chair.
Thank you for reading my posts, I wish you joy, happiness and laughter always.
